INTRO:
The language to be
part of the human being and allows us to communicate is an element that makes
us rich and cognitively cognitively, and which over the centuries has aroused
the curiosity of scientific and analytical, whom the origin and wondered why Thus
so particular to communicate with each other. At first there were only gestures
and sounds that primates identified intonation and gave them what they
considered as the occasion warranted.
there arises the
linguistic and scientific depth study of the different branches of language,
its origins, meanings, sounds, grammar, pragmatics etc.
The following
documental research will be established the wider linguistic meaning, as
acts and its variants in terms of sub branches or sub auxiliary sciences who
help a deeper study of each language.
The linguistic as a science Modern:
To speak of
linguistics as scientific-humanistic discipline must make mention of the
ultimate science research anthropology as it is a science which is covering the
phenomena of the human being as part of society. One of the many branches of
investigation of linguistic anthropology also known as a science that studies
language from every point of view is articulated human language.
Far away is the
working knowledge of the language to the scientific study of language because
the science of linguistics studying languages but not to learn, but as phenomena or instruments.
Linguistics as a
science that analyzes and studies the phenomena from the grammatical structure,
pronunciation and semantics of each language and its series of auxiliary
sciences that allow us to define a little more study of language or speech
Auxiliary sciences of linguistics:
Psycholinguistics:
Study of psychology interested in knowing how individual acquires and uses language.
Sociolinguistics:
studies the relations between language and society.
Neuro: is responsible
for analyzing methods of human brain in order to establish and identify the
language both spoken and written.
Lexicography: science
that deals with the development and critical analysis of dictionaries.
Lexicology: science
responsible for defining and discovering the origin of words, concepts, and
semantic relations.
Spelling: is
responsible for establishing rules and regulations in writing a language.
Philology: study
thoroughly the historical origin of each language
Phonology is
responsible for studying the sounds and articulation in the reproduction of a
specific language
Dialectology: works
with sociolinguistics in the study of the geographic variation of language and
its etymology.
Grammar: science that
aims to study and analyze the components of a language and their different
combinations.
Semantics: refers to
the significance of the words of a language.
Pragmatics: analyzes
how language is used, how it is understood by speakers or the interpretation of
them in specific contexts.
Semiotics: analyzes
the different types of symbols and signs produced by humans.
Phonetics: study of
phonemes which are symbols of the sounds produced by language.
Prosody: is
responsible for studying various phenomena related to stress, rhythm and
intonation in languages.
Importance and contributions of linguistics in
society:
The main contribution
of this science is the study of language is directly related to the human and
cognitive sciences. There is currently an estimated 6,000 languages, but the linguistic when studying is based on a
classification of those performed in the common origin if they have the same,
so, they are ordered based on the family of the language or language. This way
you can discover the workings of a language at a given time and thus understand
their overall development.
History of Modern linguistic:
It is from the
nineteenth century with the publication of "progress in General
Linguistics" by maximum expositor of linguistic Ferdinand de Saussure
(1916). Who has since separated what we know as language (any system of speech)
and speech (implementation)
For the twentieth
century Noan Chomsky creates and develops current generativism which
understands language as a result of the mental processing of the speaker, so, the
natural ability of any human being to generate words in a language.
Systems study of language or modern linguistic:
The study of language
as a system can be carried out at different levels: the phonetic-phonological
(phonology), morphological (morphology), the syntax (syntax), the (lexicology
and lexicography) lexical and semantic (semantic).
From the point of
view of speech, however, the text can be considered as the top unit of
communication and pragmatic focus that makes both enunciation and the enunciation.
